Hi there, ny name is Antoinette and I am a mammy to 4 brilliant kids, 3 girls and 1 boy ranging from 17-6 years of age!
When I am not wearing my mammy hat, I am a qualified paediatric and adult nurse.
I have been nursing for far too long now, but I have been caring for newborn babies for over 17 years now.
I am passionate about caring for babies and their parents and once I became a mother myself I really became aware of how vulnerable new parents can feel once they arrive home with their newborn.
As a result of this, I began to work as a maternity night nurse..
My main role is to come to your home and let you catch up on sleep.
I am not a sleep trainer.
I may offer some tips on establishing a good sleep routine but I do not give advice on sleep training.
Another part of my work as a maternity nurse, is to answer questions that often new parents feel they have no one else to ask… so If it is worries about feeding, winding, pee and poo ( or lack of it) or any other question they may have, my role is to offer support and guidance. I give advice where it is asked for and it is always evidence based on my knowledge and experience as a nurse.
So… that’s me!!!
